Sledding

We went sledding with Nate's family. A big thanks to Gma Conna for hosting and Steph and Bracken for carting us around on the snowmobiles.

It was all going well until Tess "broke her arm" which she played up in a truly Oscar-worthy performance. (In her defense, I think she really did hurt it because she is still complaining about it 5 days later.)

me: I'm sorry you broke your arm Tess.

Tess: Thanks Mom. I'm sorry you broke your bum.

True story. I slammed (and I mean slammed) into a mound of ice. I have a big, black bruise. I wish I could post a picture. But that might be a little obscene.

Erin - I have shown your videos of sledding to my boss and co-workers here in Illinois - and they all want to go there now! I don't think I've ever seen a better sledding spot in my life! That looks like so much fun! And even more fun when we realized that someone brought you back up the hill on a snowmobile! GREAT FUN! Wish I was there too!

That looks so fun! I absolutely LOVE sledding. Tell Tess I'm sorry about her arm. That sounds serious. And Erin, I'm super sorry about your bum. The worst place to receive an injury.

How fun!! That hill looks like it goes on forever!! I'm not a big fan of sledding, but I think if I had that hill and a snowmobile to give me a ride back up I'd be all over it:)

Where is that sledding spot? It looks like it would be worth the drive to Utah just to sled there. How fun! Great post--so impressed with your slide show and video clips. Way to go!

ps- I added to my blog post about the ways I use my flax seed meal. It's super super easy and you cannot even tell it's in there. Good Luck!

Oh my goodness that sledding looks like so much fun! When I was watching the video I was thinking, man that’s a long ride down. Then I thought, and an even longer walk back up! I was happy to read that you guys snowmobiles with you. It looks like you guys had a great Christmas. I totally love your P.J.'s! Oh and the booby tarp- hilarious.
