Well, you may not have been excited about the new hole in your front yard, but my boys sure were! I think the workers were a little amused about them needing to stop and look so long. And, when we walked by yesterday they seemed a little disappointed that the hole was gone. How nice to have that all finished though. Sometimes the whole make a mess to fix things isn't fun...
Oh no, that doesn't look good. Actually, it looks exactly like the hole we had in our front yard in good old Lansdowne in 2002. Keith and a friend dug a 6 foot deep trench from our house to the streeet with nothing but a pair of shovels. No running water, no heat for 2 weeks. In FEBRUARY, mind you. Bad, bad memories.
